Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Aro Dating ("Aro", "we", "us") collects when you use our website, mobile experience and related services (the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using Aro you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Use.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated as you use the Service, and information from third parties.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

  • Service providers: hosting, analytics, email, payment and moderation partners who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality.
  • Safety & legal: with law enforcement or other parties when required by law, to protect rights, property and safety, or to investigate fraud and abuse.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice where required.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance and detect abuse. You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may break parts of the Service.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Access, correct or download a copy of your data from Settings, or by contacting us.
  • Delete your account at any time. We may retain limited data where required by law or to enforce our Terms.
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
  • Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK, California, Australia), you may have additional rights such as objecting to processing, restricting use, or lodging a complaint with a regulator.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms. Retention periods vary by data type and jurisdiction.

7. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is 100% secure; please choose a strong password, enable available security features, and report anything unusual.

8. International transfers

Aro is a global service and your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.

9. Children

Aro is strictly 18+. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using Aro, please report it immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
